Services
It is not feasible for an individual mine or even a very large mining company to employ all the mining engineers that are needed to undertake all the tasks necessary. Many tasks need specialist knowledge, such as designing software to create simulate models of mineral deposits. Consultants enable companies to tap into specialist expertise that has been developed as a result of working on a wider range of projects than exist within one organization. Reserve Estimation
Estimation of mineral resources at a range of assay cut-offs, stratigraphic
limits and other constraints can be carried out. Resource geologists ensure
their work is fully compliant with the code and have taken responsibility for a variety of resource estimates.
Reserve Classification
To satisfy the requirements of various mining codes, a wide variety of expertise
is required to evaluate how each of these factors impacts on a deposit. As a
diversified engineering group, we can provide the wide variety of expertise

Geotechnical engineering
Geotechnical engineering team is focused on the effective design of excavations for underground and open pit operations. A focus on the quality of the geological and geotechnical data is an important consideration in our work. Accurate data forms a strong foundation from which we can formulate efficient mine designs and operating practices. Using a regionalised database and block modeling techniques we were able to demonstrate the variability of the geotechnical parameters across the ore body allowing to customize the dimensions of stopes to suit the local geotechnical conditions.” Services:

Our geotechnical engineering provides the full range of geotechnical services to operations from geotechnical strategy and long term planning inputs to slope monitoring and supervision of slope formation. Our geotechnical engineering was commissioned to undertake the geotechnical component of feasibility study. The project presented the geotechnical data as a 3-dimensional model to allow a better understanding of the variability of ground conditions over the mine. The block modeling tools allowed the complex ground conditions to be modeled, while also accounting for the variable influence of mining induced stresses. This enabled stope designs to be optimized for particular ground conditions and sequencing strategies.
