Top Consulting Inc. is a full-service geological consulting firm serving both the Canadian and the international mining exploration companies. Based in Calgary, Alberta, since 1993, Top Consulting Inc. offers a full range of mining geological consulting services for projects ranging from basic grassroots exploration through to development drilling programs. Top is also renowned for producing regional geological compilations for selected commodities in active exploration camps. Top explorations have worked on projects throughout North America. Top success has been founded upon its track record of providing quality, independent, cost-effective geological consulting services to its clients to provide superior, independent, cost-effective geological consulting services to its clients. Top combine the latest exploration techniques with traditional geologic mapping and prospecting methods. Our knowledgeable and experienced exploration geologists are responsible for conducting field programs from inception to definition drilling, including geological, geophysical and geochemical data acquisition, processing, and interpretation. We provide the clients with the most appropriate suite of exploration tools, techniques and technologies for a given operational environment.

Top has managed a lots of exploration programs in Canada and internationally during the past ten years. These projects were directed primarily at evaluating base metal, precious metal, platinum group metals and diamond properties.
Management of client projects has encompassed project generation, geological literature research, property selection and acquisition, budget preparation, sub-contractor selection and supervision, and direction of field programs.
Top provides high-quality evaluations and qualifying reports for the Canadian exchanges.
Assisting clients in the following:
We are involved in exploration program of pre-field archival research, literature reviews and remote sensing/air photo interpretation. Drawing heavily on the resources of the various research institutes in the Calgary area, government databases, assessment reports and our own files, a clear understanding of a prospect's exploration history, geological setting and potential can be assessed.
We use regional air photo studies, satellite imagery interpretations, and different studies to identify potential targets in its pre-field compilation work. Detailed stereoscopic examinations of aerial photographs are used to enhance our knowledge of regional structural and stratigraphic trends. Satellite imagery interpretation helps to more precisely define regional structural and alteration trends. The information derived from this approach provides the basis for specific, better designed and more cost effective field exploration programs.
We use conventional prospecting as an integral part of its mineral exploration programs. Under the direction of the project geologist, teams of experienced prospectors are deployed to locate mineralized occurrences. This has proven to be cost effective in locating mineral occurrences and focusing attention on areas that require trenching and detailed geological mapping along with geochemical and geophysical surveys.
Property specific geological mapping consists of measurement and sampling of stratigraphic sections, acquisition of structural and metamorphic data, and detailed interpretation. Our geologists have experience in undertaking underground, detailed grid, and regional reconnaissance mapping. This mapping is enhanced by our ability to integrate available geophysical data into a comprehensive interpretation of the underlying geology.
We has completed a lots geochemical surveys including lake-sediment, water, stream silt, bio-geochemical, bulk till, soil, saprolite, and lithogeochemical sampling. Materials derived from these surveys are analyzed under our direction at accredited commercial laboratories by utilizing the most appropriate analytical technique. This information is then interpreted in the context of the geology and geophysical responses to define specific areas of potential mineralization.
We are doing ground geophysical surveys - including magnetic, electromagnetic, radiometric techniques - to aid in mapping the subsurface geology. Co arranges subcontracts for airborne and sophisticated ground geophysical surveys. Our organization maintains a close association with several groups of highly competent consulting geophysicists who can offer advanced interpretation and specialized computer data treatment.
We managing numerous drilling programs including oriented core and overburden sampling programs. These projects, which have employed diamond, reverse circulation and RAB rigs, have been managed from the negotiation of contracts through drilling supervision, to the presentation of assay results and lithological logs in an evaluation report. Considerable experience has been gained from managing large-scale electronic databases in support of pre-feasibility studies of mineral properties.
We will undertake basal till sampling, trenching, channel and bulk sampling programs. The company owns and operates its own Wacker overburden drill system. This equipment has been used successfully in exploration for precious metals, base metals, and uranium in glaciated terrain. Diamond saws are utilized to cut channel samples in trenches and from exposed bedrock.
Whenever possible accurate location data is collected with or attached to field data and research data. By compiling all information into a GIS database it allows for accurate integration of exploration data.
We using Geosoft and Gemcom - two industry-standard geophysical and geological modelling software packages. Geosoft software processes high volumes of geochemical and geophysical data into graphical presentations to facilitate decision-making. Gemcom is a 3D geological modelling software package that is designed to model drillhole data.
Not only do these programs, when operated by competent geological staff, make good sense of the data in a field-ready manner, but they output graphically precise material that can be used directly in generating geological and geophysical reports.
Our staff is proficient in writing comprehensive reports documenting methodology and results of field operations carried out during exploration programs. These reports provide full documentation including all survey and analytical data in a logical and concise format acceptable to government and regulatory authorities.
Clients can receive all digital project data and reports on Compact Disks.
Not only is this format useful from a data management perspective, but it serves
as a relatively inexpensive means to distribute information. This reduces the
expense to companies for generating additional maps and reports for their
properties.
Top has completed geological compilation studies for various commodities in highly prospective mining camps. These studies were important in consolidating the company's reputation as one of the country's leading consulting firms, and include:
| Saskatchewan | precious metal |
| Saskatchewan | base/precious metals |
| Saskatchewan | base/precious metals |
| Saskatchewan | base/precious metals |
| British Columbia | base/precious metals |
| British Columbia | precious metals |
| Northwest Territories | diamond |
| Alaska | precious metals |
| Nevada | precious metals |
| California | precious metals |
The maps and accompanying databases are standard references for resource companies active in these areas. In addition to these multi-client studies, Co has been retained on an exclusive basis to undertake detailed compilations and evaluations for specific companies.
On-going research, access to the excellent geological references at the
University of Calgary and the Geological Survey of Canada's Institute of
Sedimentary and Petroleum Geology libraries and our own extensive in-house
library resources and map files allow co to maintain its competitive edge.
Likewise, memberships in numerous professional organizations keep our geologists
up to date on the latest exploration developments and techniques. Through the
Internet, we can access a large number of remote databases to further enhance
our ability to complete research.
Top has extensive exploration experience with a diversity of commodities including gold and silver, base metals, diamonds and platinum group metals (PGM).
Top has carried out exploration for a number of base metal deposit types. These include porphyry-molybdenum deposits, Mississippi Valley type lead/zinc and Kuroko-type and Besshi-type Volcanogenic Massive Sulphide (VMS) type deposits.
The company has carried out diamond exploration in Canada and USA. This work included integrated geological mapping, heavy mineral sampling, direction of airborne and ground geophysical surveys and drilling programs.
Our extensive experience in gold includes world wide exploration for epithermal and mesothermal deposits.
We has explored for PGM deposits in Bushveld type cumulate and ultramafic complexes.
Our exploration experience includes unconformity vein type and sandstone
hosted deposits.
